# Fruit ice cream

Recipe yields 2 litres
|
|
|
|
### Ingredients
|
|
* 1.3 kilograms apples
|
|
* plums
|
|
* strawberries
|
|
* 450 grams caster sugar
|
|
* 250 milliliters double cream
|
|
|
|
### Directions
|
|
|
|
Make a purée of the fruit: cook with a little water until soft, then pass through a sieve. Reduce if too runny.
|
|
|
|
Warm the cream and sugar together until the sugar has dissolved (do not boil). Combine with the fruit purée. Churn in ice cream machine.
|
