# Tomato Ketchup

### Ingredients
|
|
* 3.5 kilograms tomatoes, roughly chopped
|
|
* 1 kilograms apples, peeled
|
|
* 1 kilograms apples, chored
|
|
* 1 kilograms apples, chopped
|
|
* 6 pieces onions, chopped
|
|
* 800 grams sugar
|
|
* 1 litres malt vinegar
|
|
* 2 tablespoons sea salt
|
|
* 1 teaspoons cayenne pepper
|
|
* 12 pieces peppercorns
|
|
* 12 pieces alllspice berries
|
|
* 12 pieces cloves
|
|
|
|
### Directions
|
|
|
|
Tie up the peppercorns, allspice and cloves in a muslin bag. Place all the ingredients in a pan, bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer; cook until the ingredients are a pulp, abotu 2 hours. Remove from the head and press through a sieve. Return to the pan and boil for 2-3 minutes, then decant into sterilized jars and seal.
