# Garam masala

### Ingredients
|
|
* 1.5 teaspoons coriander seeds
|
|
* 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
|
|
* 1 teaspoons fennel seeds
|
|
* 1.25 teaspoons black peppercorns
|
|
* 5 centimetres cinnamon stick
|
|
* 6 pieces cloves
|
|
* 5 pieces cardamon pods, seeds from
|
|
* 0.25 teaspoons fenugreek seeds
|
|
|
|
### Directions
|
|
|
|
Heat the spices in a dry heavy frying pan over a low heat. shaking the pan from time to time, until they are lightly roasted. Cool, then grind to a fine powder.
