# Shortbread

### Ingredients
|
|
* 190 grams plain flour
|
|
* 60 grams cornflour
|
|
* 175 grams unsalted butter
|
|
* 60 grams caster sugar
|
|
* 1 pieces vanilla pods
|
|
|
|
### Directions
|
|
|
|
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Split vanilla pod and scrape in seeds. Add flour, and mix to a stiff dough. Shape into a log, wrap tightly in cling film, and chill for at least 1/2 hour. Slice as desired and bake at 160C for 10-12 minutes.
