Garam masala
Ingredients
- 1.5 teaspoons coriander seeds
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoons fennel seeds
- 1.25 teaspoons black peppercorns
- 5 centimetres cinnamon stick
- 6 pieces cloves
- 5 pieces cardamon pods, seeds from
- 0.25 teaspoons fenugreek seeds
Directions
Heat the spices in a dry heavy frying pan over a low heat. shaking the pan from time to time, until they are lightly roasted. Cool, then grind to a fine powder.
