# English roast beef Recipe yields 10 servings ### Ingredients * 2.3 kilograms rib roast of beef * dry English mustard * salt * black pepper, freshly ground ### Directions Weigh the beef to calculate the cooking time. Preheat the oven to 220C/Gas 7. Place the meat in a roasting pan and sprinkle with salt, a little mustard, and plenty of black pepper. Roast for 20 minutes.
