# Warm cabbage, onion and apple slaw ### Ingredients * 1 pieces red onion, very thinly sliced * 1 medium green cabbage * 1 medium savoy cabbage, shredded finely * 2 large apples, peeled * 2 large apples, cored * 2 large apples, thinly sliced * olive oil * salt * pepper * balsamic vinegar ### Directions Heat a little oil in a large pan and saute the onions for a few minutes. Just before they start to brown, add the apples, cook for a minute then add the cabbage, a dash of vinegar, seasoning and a little water. Stir over a hot flame until everything is combined well and the cabbage is barely cooked.
